Marketing Associate

Location: South Bend, IN

Southfield Village is looking for a Marketing Associate to join our creative and collaborative team!

Scope of Responsibility: Respond to incoming inquiries and secure commitments for Greencroft housing facilities. Assist in marketing all Greencroft Goshen housing and health services and refer to other Greencroft Communities as appropriate.

Essential Functions:

  • Conduct interviews with prospective residents and/or family members, give tours through the facilities and provide details regarding available services, financial options, costs, monthly fees and other pertinent information.
  • Obtain a commitment from the prospective resident(s) to an apartment home and complete appropriate paperwork to confirm commitment, etc.
  • Conduct prospect telemarketing. Assist with wait list management and follow-up activities.
  • Assist with the new resident move-in process, working with the resident, turnover team and Greencroft housing staff to facilitate a smooth move-in.
  • Assist in planning and orchestrating special events, such as brunches, luncheons, open houses, town meetings, etc. for prospects, wait list persons and community groups as requested by the Director of Marketing.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field required
  • Previous Marketing and Sales experience in retirement housing, health care or continuum of care preferred.

  • Understand the need for flexibility/adaptability to changing needs of older adults.
  • Strong marketing/sales skills.
  • Strong written and verbal skills.
  • Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and database management skills.
