Painting Coordinator-Greencroft Goshen

Location: Goshen, IN

Job Description:

Coordinates staff, outside contractors and supplies to complete painting projects. Works closely with Director of Maintenance in responsibilities related to the department.

Duties include:

  • Inspect, schedule, plan, and oversees painting projects.

  • Oversee painting projects by coordinating with in-house crew to paint in houses in a timely manner.

  • Track and stock all needed paint for projects, turnovers and buildings other than that in inventory.

  • Schedule outside paint contractors as needed on a case by case basis when our painting schedule is full.

  • Contribute to the paint selection process to pick the best product for planned use

  • Responsible for ensuring painting products ordered in a timely manner.

  • Monitor staff adherence to safe workplace practices, including risk management issues such as workplace injury follow-up, universal precautions and emergency procedures.

  • Job Requirements/Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Three to five years of experience in a painting related field required.

  • Strong understanding of proper painting products and procedures required.

  • Ability to drive a golf cart and climb ladder.

  • Ability to work without close supervision while maintaining Greencroft Maintenance Department standards of conduct and job performance.

Schedule:

  • FT M-F
  • on call for snow removal
