Director of Independent Living (Director of Resident Life Services)

The Director of Resident Life Services is responsible for operational oversight in the day-to-day management for 700+ Independent Living residents. Will focus on strategic development and implementation of exceptional and appropriate programming and services to meet the needs and desires of today’s Independent Living resident.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage current programs and services for independent living residents.
  • Develop and implement programs that will focus on meeting the residents intellectual, emotional, social, physical, spiritual, and vocational needs and will be developed based on resident preferences whenever possible.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to reporting Team Members.
  • Monitor fiscal performances for areas of responsibilities.
  • Adhere to all compliance and regulatory requirements.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Five or more years in elderly services.
  • A progressive career in social services may also be considered.
  • Five or more years as a supervisor.

Schedule:

Full Time, with management on duty rotation for weekends and holidays
