Dining Attendant

Department: Dietary
Location: Goshen, IN

Job Description:

Dining Attendants will be responsible for sanitary and safe handling of food and equipment and keeping area clean.

Duties include:

  • Simple food preparation, such as preparing beverages, portioning salads and desserts, toast and between meal nourishment
  • Serve food to residents and/or customers
  • Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots and pans
  • Set tables and/or trays for meals
  • Other Duties as assigned

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience working with older adults, preferred
  • Ability to operate machines, such as dishwasher, coffee maker and commercial ovens
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff
  • Ability to follow directions and obtain information from preprinted reports

Schedule:

  • 6:00am – 2:30pm
  • Must work every other weekend and holidays
