Job Description:
Dining Attendants will be responsible for sanitary and safe handling of food and equipment and keeping area clean.
Duties include:
- Simple food preparation, such as preparing beverages, portioning salads and desserts, toast and between meal nourishment
- Serve food to residents and/or customers
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots and pans
- Set tables and/or trays for meals
- Other Duties as assigned
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience working with older adults, preferred
- Ability to operate machines, such as dishwasher, coffee maker and commercial ovens
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff
- Ability to follow directions and obtain information from preprinted reports
Schedule:
- 6:00am – 2:30pm
- Must work every other weekend and holidays
