Your Role
As a Nurse Manager (LPN), you'll provide clinical leadership while supporting the day-to-day operations of the Nursing Services Department. Working closely with the Director of Nursing Services, you will:
- Lead and support licensed nurses and nursing assistants
- Assist with daily nursing operations, staffing, and scheduling
- Monitor resident care, assessments, and changes in condition
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, infection control standards, and facility policies
- Conduct audits, monitor quality indicators, and participate in quality assurance initiatives
- Provide coaching, education, and performance feedback to nursing team members
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and care planning
- Complete required documentation, reports, and administrative duties
- Provide direct resident care as needed
- Foster a positive, collaborative team environment focused on exceptional resident care
What We're Looking For
- Active Ohio LPN license in good standing (Required)
- 3–5 years of long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop nursing staff
- Knowledge of long-term care regulations and quality standards
- Flexibility to assist with on-call responsibilities as needed
- A genuine passion for serving older adults and leading compassionate care teams
