Help Residents Regain Independence. Build Relationships. Make a Difference.

Are you a compassionate CNA who enjoys helping people reach their goals and maintain their independence?

Join Walnut Hills, part of nonprofit Greencroft Communities, as a Restorative Care CNA and play an important role in helping older adults maintain their strength, mobility, confidence, and quality of life.

This is more than a traditional CNA role. As part of our restorative care team, you'll work with residents to encourage independence and help them maintain the skills they need to participate in everyday activities. You'll have the opportunity to spend meaningful time with residents, celebrate their progress, and make a visible difference in their lives.

Why You'll Love Working Here

  • 4-day workweek — enjoy a consistent part-time schedule while making time for the things that matter outside of work
  • Meaningful, relationship-focused work — spend time getting to know residents and supporting their individual goals
  • Make a visible difference — help residents maintain or improve their abilities and independence
  • Supportive team environment — work alongside nurses, therapy professionals, and other caregivers
  • Mission-driven organization — be part of a nonprofit community that puts residents and people first
  • Opportunity to grow — develop valuable experience in restorative care and senior living

What You'll Do

As a Restorative Care CNA, you'll help residents maintain and improve their abilities while providing compassionate, dignified care. You will:

  • Assist residents with restorative programs designed to maintain or improve strength, mobility, range of motion, and independence
  • Encourage residents to participate in activities and daily routines to the fullest extent possible
  • Assist with walking, transfers, positioning, range-of-motion exercises, and other restorative activities as directed
  • Support residents with activities of daily living while encouraging them to do as much as they can independently
  • Follow individualized restorative care plans and document residents' progress and participation
  • Observe and communicate changes in residents' condition, abilities, or needs to the appropriate team members
  • Work closely with nurses, therapy professionals, and other team members to support resident goals
  • Build positive relationships with residents and encourage them throughout their restorative journey
  • Provide personal care with patience, respect, and dignity
  • Help create a safe, positive, and encouraging environment for residents
  • Serve as an advocate for residents and their ability to remain as independent as possible

What You'll Bring

  • Current CNA certification
  • A genuine desire to help older adults maintain their independence and quality of life
  • Patience, compassion, and encouragement
  • A positive attitude and willingness to celebrate small victories
  • Ability to follow care plans and communicate effectively with the care team
  • Ability to work collaboratively with nurses, therapists, CNAs, and other team members
  • Strong observation and communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience in restorative care, rehabilitation, long-term care, or senior living is a plus—but we're happy to help the right candidate grow into the role.

Benefits That Support You

Eligible employees may receive:

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • 403(b) Retirement Plan with Employer Match
  • Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • Voluntary Life Insurance
  • Additional benefits may be available

Come Be Part of Something Meaningful

At Walnut Hills, our CROFT Values — Creativity, Respect, Openness, Fairness, and Teamwork — guide how we care for our residents and how we support one another.

As a Restorative Care CNA, you'll have the opportunity to do more than provide care. You'll help residents discover what they can still do, encourage them to keep moving forward, and celebrate the progress along the way.

If you're a CNA who believes in the power of encouragement, independence, and person-centered care, we'd love to have you join the Walnut Hills team.
