Schedule: Full-Time | 5 days per week | 6:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Job Overview

Hamilton Grove, part of Greencroft Communities, a nonprofit senior living organization, is hiring a Full-Time Laundry Aide to support our residents and campus operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, a consistent morning schedule, and being part of a mission-driven healthcare environment.

Laundry Aide Responsibilities

• Collect, wash, dry, fold, and deliver resident laundry and linens

• Ensure clothing and linens are returned to correct residents and areas

• Inspect clothing for mending or ironing needs

• Safely use laundry chemicals, detergents, washers, dryers, and ironers

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laundry room

• Report equipment issues or repair needs promptly

• Follow resident care standards and Greencroft Communities policies

• Support campus operations and assist with additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications & Experience

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Previous laundry, housekeeping, or healthcare experience preferred

• Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Compassion and respect for older adults and residents

• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs occasionally and 30 lbs frequently

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and repetitive motions

• Occasional kneeling, reaching, pulling, and grasping

• Ability to perform close visual inspections

• Ability to follow safety procedures and universal precautions
